Watching him perform or instruct affirms his creative talents and skills, which he uses to provide solutions for his clients. He is thorough and has the knack to convey his instructions clearly and simply. Jerry’s knowledge in body mechanics is instinctive and he has the ability to adjust to individual needs.
He sets achievable goals while being persistent and tenacious; never giving up until the goal is reached. All of this is accomplished with an easy manner and a relaxed attitude through demonstrating by example and encouragement.
No matter what Jerry is doing, whether as an action choreographer or as a coach/trainer in movement, sports, swimming and lifestyle, his total devotion to the task is always apparent. I think anyone who is lucky enough to have Jerry on their team is already a winner.

I worked with Jerry Rosen at York University. I was thrilled to have Jerry as my assistant gymnastics coach and main (safety) spotter for new high risk elements.
As a two-time Olympian and 11-time women’s Yugoslavian national gymnastics champion, I knew the requirements of anyone who I would consider as my assistant coach; Jerry surpassed my expectations. He was the only coach at York University who worked with both the men’s and women’s teams and had the trust of all athletes and coaches. His imaginative and artistic approach to gymnastics helped my team lead the way with the longest record for provincial and national wins.

Jerry Rosen was one of my assistant gymnastics coaches and main spotter for 10+ years at York University (Toronto). With Jerry as part of my team, we were able to hold the longest record for winning provincial and national teams.
When selecting the coaches to work with me I chose Jerry, a highly talented all around athlete and coach, who certainly met and exceeded my requirements. Because of his creative ideas and detail to safe movement for the athletes, his coaching was definitely part of our exceptional successes at York University.

I have the pleasure of working with Jerry Rosen for 10+ years as assistant coach at York University (Toronto, Canada), as well as on the 1976 Canadian Olympic men’s gymnastics team and watching him use his many talents in other areas both then and since. |

As one of Japan’s top elite athletes and the 1975 Canadian Men’s gymnastics champion, I know exceptional talent when I see it. Jerry is a very highly talented, versatile gymnastics coach and all around athlete. He has the ability to recognize movement in its different forms, gives great attention to detail and safety and is able to blend these aspects of gymnastics and other forms of movement into innovative new high level routines. In my opinion, Jerry is one of the main reasons that we were able to have incomparable winning results.
